Two Types of Scholarships
The Opportunity Scholarship
These funds are for North Carolina students who meet the State's age eligibility requirements for kindergarten* and have not graduated from high school. Eligibility Requirements
*For kindergarten eligibility, a student must be 5 years old on or before August 31 of the year they are applying.
The Education Student Accounts (ESA+)
These funds are for North Carolina students with disabilities who meet the State's age eligibility requirements for kindergarten* and have not graduated from high school. Eligibility Requirements

Important Dates & Deadlines

Financial Review
Schools that enroll 70 or more students who use scholarship funds are required to submit a financial review.
Testing & Reporting Process
Schools that accept scholarship funds must submit test results for scholarship students each year. Learn more about the requirements here.
Tuition & Fee Schedule
Schools that have registered with NCSEAA are required to submit a tuition and fee schedule each year.
